We are a local group that supports Measure E. The increased sales tax brings Arroyo Grande's tax to the level of surrounding cities and provides funding to provide services and infrastructure improvements.
Measure E would add 1% to the sales tax, which matches the 8.75% of surrounding cities of Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay Atascadero, and Paso Robles
The City of Arroyo Grande is underfunded. Measure E would provide roughly six million dollars a year.
The priorities of the funding would be: maintain police, fire, and paramedic services, improve roads, and upgrade aging infrastructure
